Toffee

Howdy everyone – I’m Toffee. I’m the sweetest, Pardon me, I meant the latest arrival here at Yannick’s shelter.

For the past couple of months, I’ve been hanging out at Coffee shop in the heart of Kyiv. I loved keeping the locals company and listening to all the gossip.

Unfortunately, they weren’t fans of having toffee with their coffee as they would often tell me to leave them alone despite my best efforts to make friends with them!

This was until a kind lady came to hang out with me. She fed me and took me on a journey to another city, Lviv. That’s where I met a cool guy called Yannick who played with me and promised to keep me safe. He said I was very skinny which reminded me to put my puppy eyes on in hope for an extra snack. Mission accomplished!

Since arriving at the shelter, it’s been great. I’ve learned how to swim in the lake and hanged out with some really cool furries.

I receive compliments on my toffee coloured fur all the time and.. girls are falling in love with my hazel eyes. What can I say? I’m a born charmer.

As I’ve been living on the streets for a long time, I like to protect my meals. I’m very good on a leash and hey, if I’m not, the puppy eyes always work so I get away with it.

I am looking for a family who will love me and work with me on my imperfections.

I need to be slowly introduced to other pets and monitored as I tend to guard my food.

Ideally I need to have an experienced family who are active and are willing to go on long walks or bike rides with me. I’m a bundle of love.. not again, I mean energy!

I love kiddos but would prefer a home where I’m the family’s favourite and only child.
